Two-week mission trip in the Philippines
Hello! Tsukuba CMCS! ✨
This past January, through a Korean mission organization, I was able to participate in a 2-week mission trip to the Philippines in an English-only environment! This was a very meaningful trip in the lives of our children.
After arriving in the Philippines, the children participated in various activities with children from other schools as well as with local people.
We also worked on activities to deliver aid to families and children suffering from poverty.
What was particularly impressive was the interaction with the children. I felt their love as we exchanged smiles and hugs, transcending language barriers. I realized that God’s love is conveyed deeply not only through words, but also through actions and heart-to-heart exchanges.
Through the mission trip, I was able to learn the importance of “loving. How can we convey the love that God has given to each of us to others? How can we love and support each other unconditionally? When we were made to face these questions, our hearts were able to seriously and humbly face God’s love.
