Nations Walk was held without any problems this year as well!!
Hallelujah🌸! Hello. Greetings from Cross Mission Christian School (CMCS) in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
This year, our long-awaited event, Nations Walk, was held without any problems. This event is a Christian speech contest, and many students participate every year.
Nations Walk is a joint event held by kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high school students, where students research the current situation in their countries and give speeches based on the results. This year’s contest saw an increase in the number of participants and more countries making presentations than last time. Specifically, there are 10 countries: the UK, Denmark, Israel, the US, New Zealand, Brazil, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Japan. Through this initiative, the students were able to deepen their historical consciousness and international sense, as well as learn more about the current situation of Christians in each country.
I believe that through this contest, the students were able to develop an interest in the need for prayer for the world and future missionary activities. Through the students’ presentations, we were reminded of the importance of an international perspective and the need to pray for each country. We will continue to pray that God’s sovereignty, truth, and freedom will be practiced and God’s rule will be realized not only in Tsukuba but in all countries.
I am truly grateful to God for this precious opportunity, and I sincerely hope that the students will continue to have an international perspective and fulfill their mission as Christians.
