Happy Children’s Day!
The children offered praise with “Ōkina Kamisama” (“Our Great God”).
Happy Children’s Day! On May 5, Tsukuba Love of Christ Church offered a special service to give thanks for the children and to pray for God’s blessing upon them.
From early in the morning, the church was filled with their bright voices and smiles.
As we are reminded in Scripture, Jesus welcomed and blessed the children. Each child is precious before God and loved by Him.
During the service, the Sunday school children came forward and offered praise with the children’s praise song “Ōkina Kamisama” (“Our Great God”). Their praise brought warmth and joy to the brothers and sisters gathered in worship.
We also had a special time of prayer during the service, asking God to bless them and help them grow in health, faith, and His love.
It was also meaningful for adults and children, who usually worship in separate settings, to praise the Lord together and share fellowship. Through this time, we were reminded of the blessing of being one church family across generations.
We pray that each one will continue to walk in God’s love, surrounded by His care and guided in faith. May His love be passed on to the next generation through them.
We give thanks to God for this day, surrounded by the children’s smiles and praise. Amen.
