2026 Children’s Day Service 🌿
Hallelujah!
We are Tsukuba Love of Christ Church.
May is a season to remember
the growth of our children
and give thanks to God.
Every year in May,
around Children’s Day in Japan,
we hold a special
Children’s Day Service.
On this day,
the children stand at the front of the sanctuary
and offer praise to God.
Their voices may not all line up.
Some may pause for a moment.
Some may spot their mom
and smile brightly.
But each of those little moments
is precious before God.
Children’s Day Service is not a time
to see how well the children can perform.
It is a time for children
to praise God
with the voices God has given them.
A Day to Give Thanks for Our Children
In everyday life,
we may sometimes look at children through questions like:
“Did they do well?”
“Did they fall behind?”
“How do they compare with other children?”
We may find ourselves seeing them
through those kinds of standards.
But in the church,
we treasure this truth:
each child here with us is a blessing in itself.
During this service,
there will also be a gentle message
for the children.
“We are so glad you are here.”
We hope that children,
parents, and guardians
can receive that message together
before God.
For Families Who Would Like to Worship Together 🙂

you are welcome to join us.
If your child makes a little noise during the service,
gets a bit restless,
or finds it hard to sit still,
please do not worry too much.
Little children,
and every member of the family,
are welcome to come just as they are.
Through this Children’s Day Service in May,
we hope to remember together
God’s love and blessing for children.
