Love Sports Day

Hallelujah! 🌞 On a clear autumn day during Japan’s Sports Day holiday, Tsukuba Love of Christ Church held its Love Sports Day.

From the morning, everyone gathered with bright smiles, ready to spend the day together in the refreshing autumn breeze. 🏃

The day began with an icebreaker. In the “Rock-Paper-Scissors Train,” the line grew longer and longer as each winner led the next person forward, bringing smiles and laughter to the group. 🚂

In the “Tic-Tac-Toe Relay,” teams worked together, made quick strategies, and ran to flip their colored cards. Cheers rose as each team gave their best and encouraged one another. ⭕

During the “Human Knot,” participants held hands and tried to untangle themselves without letting go. It became a warm and memorable moment of teamwork, patience, and cooperation. 🤝

There were many other lively games as well, including a scavenger hunt, a card-flipping race, and “Typhoon’s Eye.” Through each game, everyone was able to laugh together, help one another, and enjoy the time as one church family.

In the second half, everyone played sports such as dodgeball, basketball, and badminton. There was also a ball-toss game, where teams worked together to toss balls into the basket, and a relay race, where runners gave their best as they passed the baton to the next person.

At the closing award ceremony, gifts were given to the brothers and sisters who gave their best and showed love throughout the day. Surrounded by smiles and applause, the Love Sports Day came to a warm close. 🎁

More than the results of each game, it was a blessed day of sharing time together, encouraging one another, and deepening fellowship. We give thanks to God for this meaningful time.
