Summer Christian Camp Held Again This Year

Hallelujah! This summer, Tsukuba Love of Christ Church took part in our annual Summer Christian Camp.

Surrounded by the beauty of nature, with a view of majestic Mount Fuji, we spent a warm and meaningful time in God’s Word and in fellowship with one another.

Under a clear blue sky, each day began with morning worship. Through Bible seminars, times of praise, and fellowship, we shared three fruitful days together.

This year, we were grateful to welcome many guest speakers. Pastor Isao Mizuguchi of Tokyo Free Methodist Sakuragaoka Christ Church joined us, along with Pastor Takao Nakadai, former senior pastor of Nishifunabashi Christ Church and currently serving at Kibo Christ Church, Presbyterian Church in Japan. Pastor Nakadai is also involved in hi-b.a. — High-School Born Againers. Several pastors from Korea were also with us, making this a rich time of learning across cultures and backgrounds.

As participants offered praise to God from the heart, we were grateful to share this time of worship together.

The seminars also included group discussions. Participants of different ages and backgrounds had thoughtful conversations and shared their experiences of faith.

Through this Christian camp, we were reminded of the joy and unity we have in the Lord. Many of us were encouraged as we spent these days together before God.

We pray that next year’s Summer Christian Camp will also be a gathering where we can seek God together and remember His work among us. We give thanks to God for this precious time.
