Greetings from the school principal

To all residents and parents in the Tsukuba area

My name is Mi Kyung Kim, Principal of Tsukuba Cross Mission Christian School (Tsukuba CMCS).

I believe that parents wish for their children to grow up healthy and become full-fledged adults and try to give them only good things to achieve this. However, in reality, things do not always go as we wish, do they?

From physical ailments to mental problems, conflicts in school life and relationships, and the ever-changing society, the current trend today is that children have no choice but to live their lives wandering around with anxiety.

I believe that “education is related not only to the individual’s situation, but also to the spiritual situation of the times. At the same time, while I am heartbroken by the increasingly bleak situation of today, I believe that a Christian-based education, that is, an education based on the Bible, “God made the world and loves mankind,” is the beginning of change and the cornerstone of social transformation.

All of our curriculum is developed and implemented from a Christian perspective, and all of our teachers are devout Christians. In addition, our school is based on bilingual education in English and Japanese so that students are prepared to be active international citizens while living in Japan.

In our short history since our founding in September 2021, many children and students have experienced the love of Jesus Christ and have not only matured in mind and character, but have also excelled academically.

Would you like your child to become an adult with sound thinking?

Do you want your child to become an adult with sound thinking, and to excel in humanity, intellect, and spirituality, and to play an active role in today’s global society?
